On December 26, 2024, Moshal Alo successfully implemented the Winter Relief 2024 project in Nilphamari’s Jaldhaka upazila, Nilphamari, Northern Bangladesh, for the first time. Alhamdulillah, through this initiative, we were able to deliver winter blankets and warm caps (to protect the nose, ears, and throat) as gifts to 120 students from four madrassas in the region.
Project Areas and Distribution: Hazrat Sumaiya (RA) Women’s Madrassa, Bagulagari, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari – 65 students Hazrat Fatima (RA) Women’s Model Madrassa & Orphanage, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari – 20 students Ayesha Siddiqa (RA) Women’s Madrassa, Kishoreganj, Nilphamari – 20 students Jamia Karimiyya Qaumi Madrassa, Bagulagari, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari – 15 students Total Beneficiaries: 120 students (105 girls, 15 boys)
Experience and Future Plans
Visiting this area felt like stepping back a decade. The people there are extremely underprivileged, with most living below the poverty line. The regions are still largely undeveloped, highlighting the need for continued support.
We are already planning new projects in other parts of Northern Bangladesh to address these challenges, Insha’Allah.
